The MME Student Leadership Team is learning to knit and giving back while they're at it! Students at Mike Miller Elementary are knitting baby hats and lap blankets using looms, and they plan to donate these items to local hospitals and nursing homes. The students are giving up their time after school at least one day a week to attend the Knitting Club and work on the items. Some students have also elected to work on the items at home between Knitting Club sessions. The students are excited to learn a new skill and give back to the community!
