CHS Seniors Christopher Blackburn and Drew Comstock took the PSAT/NMSQT at CHS during their Junior year, and are now National Merit Scholarship Semifinalists.
Semifinalists are the highest scoring entrants in each state. Qualifying scores vary from state to state and from year to year, but the scores of all Semifinalists are extremely high. This means that out of the approximately 1.5 million students who took the PSAT/NMSQT exam, Chris and Drew have made it to the narrowed down pool of 16,000 semifinalists.
Both have participated in Dual Credit and AP courses to help them be best prepared to do well in their standardized tests, earn high-quality GPA and support their goals of attending their preferred University after CHS graduation in May 2022.
CHS completed this year's PSAT/NMSQT on October 13, 2021. We always encourage our students to get involved, take all the classes they can and ask their School Counselor for support!
